Failure has always been trivial. It's not something that would affect what's inside. When you fail, you fail. Just get up again and move on.
At least that's what he has been feeling/doing all this while. This optimism is probably due to a lot of unachievable success in everything that he's been working on that it has turned out to be a norm instead of an unexpected outcome. Or maybe he just don't take most things to heart, which fortunately enough, includes failure. Plain emotionless.
Whatever the reason is, he's glad to be given the heart that doesn't recognise the meaning of giving up, moreover to be bruised by it.
Nonetheless, it's not the same story when the lightning of failure starts striking people around him that he eventually cared for. It's not easy anymore. It's always been something that has never failed to deprived his everlasting smile way way away from him.
If there's one thing that he hate the most, it would be the feeling of incapable. It simply hurts to not being able to do anything other than words of motivation or brotherly hug (if the one within reach) to the one surrounded by the clustered gloomy cloud.
Only during that time that he began to pray for their success, their happiness etc etc, only after it all happened. How ironic. How sad.
He would never forget the day those Pet students have to go back home and the night those 2 Barklyans leaved. It was raining heavily. It was raining in the heart.

So SPM result has been announced. His friend/brother did not failed. It's just not what they would have expected. All those waits, anxiety, ambitious discussions, hopeful plans..
His friend is someone who never failed to amazed him from the first day they were met. The leadership quality, loves for this deen, accountability, self respect, confidence, ..etc, etc. It's hard for all the above mentioned to be gathered in one man.
Nevertheless, regretfully enough, academic success was not on his side. That's where they realised, they're nothing but mortals.
There's always a blissful reason above everything; that's what he's always constantly reminding his friend/brother, if not himself.
"Be strong. I believe success would eventually come later in your life. The road to achieving it doesn't lie in only one direction. What has been granted is truly what's the best for all of us"
To be replied:
"Thanx. Hope that we would gain His blessing and become those who succeed in this world and the hereafter. Ameen. InsyaAllah"
InsyaAllah.
